Zur Situation der gynäkologischen Radiologie heute — eine Einführung

Zusammenfassung

In den vergangenen Jahren hat die Freiburger Universitäts-Frauenklinik in mehreren Symposien und Tagungsbänden mit gezielten Fragestellungen zur Diskussion offener gynäkologisch-onkologischer Probleme beigetragen; daher wird zunächst auf diese Monographien und Übersichtsarbeiten verwiesen, die sowohl beim Endometrium- [13,17,28] und Zervixkarzinom [39,42] als auch beim Ovarial- [28,46] und Mamma-Karzinom [3,8,12,16] die aktuelle Situation der Strahlentherapie und der Röntgendiagnostik beschreiben. Ausgehend von diesen Übersichten und von einigen grundlegenden Arbeiten der Weltliteratur beschäftigten wir uns im Rahmen der Informationsveranstaltung »Gynäkologische Radiologie« am 2. und 3. Dezember 1990 in Freiburg mit einigen Spezialfragen der Erkennung und Strahlenbehandlung gynäkologischer Malignome; daher möchten wir auch in diesem Band Wiederholungen mit früheren Übersichten vermeiden und einige aktuelle Fragestellungen der Radiologie herausgreifen, um gleichzeitig die derzeitige Gesamtsituation der gynäkologischen Onkologie darzustellen versuchen.
