Abstract
Environmental management is an extremely broad and dynamic field, involving a wide range of professions in science and engineering, humanities and social sciences, law and business. It is hard to predict how it is likely to change in the next few years. But what is clear is that it will become more and more important, as the planet’s natural resources are stretched further and further by an ever-growing and demanding human population.
