Abstract

Main purpose of energy production at present is production of electricity and heating. Possible ways of energy production are:

  • combustion of fuels

  • fossil fuels (hard coal, lignite, crude oil, natural gas)

  • produced fuels (coke, light oil, coke-oven gas, town gas)

  • wood, combustible waste, biogenic gas etc.

  • nuclear reaction

  • natural sources (water, wind, sun and other future sources).
