Abstract
Following the topic of the Frühjahrstagung der Astronomischen Gesellschaft, “Kosmische Chemie”, I will concentrate on recent highlights of molecular spectroscopy that are relevant for the chemistry of the interstellar medium. Although the paper mentions observations over the whole range of wavelengths from the millimeter deep into the submillimeter, the presentation will be biased towards the submillimeter and also inlcude some far-IR results. This selection follows the ideas of highlight talks to be presentations of the recent research activity of specific people or a group of people.
