Summary
Aortoiliac reconstructions are an appropriate surgical procedure for treatment of arterial occlusive disease of the suprainguinal segment and of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Decreasing operative mortality has led to an expansion of indications. Long-term follow-up shows that good functional results regarding claudication and limb salvage rate are achieved.
Zusammenfassung
Die aortoiliakalen Rekonstruktionen sind ein bewährtes Operationsverfahren zur Behandlung der arteriellen Verschlußkrankheit der aortoiliakalen Etage und des Aortenaneurysmas. Die deutliche Senkung der Operationsletalität hat zu einer Ausweitung der Indikation geführt. Die Langzeitergebnisse zeigen, daß sowohl bezüglich der Besserung der Claudicatiosymptomatik als auch der Beinerhaltungsrate gute funktionelle Spätergebnisse erzielt werden.
