Abstract
Implementing comprehensive quality concepts as described in the European Model for Business Excellence usually requires basic changes in many areas. The basis is a new and comprehensive interpretation of corporate quality which is illustrated in the assessment guidelines of international quality awards. Such a new understanding of quality can only be developed and established under adequate conditions - in particular with the help of an organisational development process.88
