Abstract
During the period from 1977 to 1981 a total of 69 posttraumatic repositioning osteotomies of the proximal femur were performed in 65 patients at the Duisburg-Buchholz Trauma Clinic. In 33 of these patients, surgery was done for the correction of malunited fractures about the hip. Thirty of these patients were male and 13 were female, with average ages of 41 and 56 years, respectively.
