Zusammenfassung

Vor 32 Jahren wurde erstmals über eine erfolgreiche Behandlung von Hautkrank-heiten durch örtliche Anwendung eines Glukokortikosteroids berichtet [1]. Seitdem haben Glukokortikosteroide die Dermatotherapie revolutioniert. Eine Behandlung ohne glukokortikosteroidhaltige Externa ist heute bei einer ganzen Reihe von Hauterkrankungen kaum mehr vorstellbar [2–4]. Die zentrale Stellung glukokorti- kosteroidhaltiger Lokaltherapeutika in der Dermatologie spiegelt sich in einem umfangreichen Angebot entsprechender Zubereitungen auf dem Arzneimittelmarkt wider. In der Roten Liste 1984 sind unter dem Stichwort „Dermatika—Corticoide“allein 182 Präparatebezeichnungen angeführt, die teilweise zusätzlich in verschiedenen Trägergrundlagen (Vehikeln) verfügbar sind.
