Intubating Conditions with Org NC 45: A Comparison with Suxamethonium and Pancuronium

  • Chapter
Cardiovascular Measurement in Anaesthesiology

Part of the book series: European Academy of Anaesthesiology ((ANAESTHESIOLOGY,volume 2))

Abstract

Org NC 45 is a neuromuscular blocking agent structurally related to pancuronium but without any significant cardiovascular side effects(1). Both animal and human studies have shown it to be short acting, less cumulative than pancuronium and easily antagonised by neostigmine(2, 3, 4).
