Zusammenfassung

Die Überlebensfähigkeit eines gefährdeten Myokards hängt häufig von dem Verhältnis zwischen Sauerstoffangebot und myokardialem O2 -Verbrauch ab. Die bei eingeschränkter Ventrikelleistung üblicherweise angewandte Therapie, durch Änderung der Herzfrequenz (9) und der myokardialen Kontraktilität mit positiv-inotropen Substanzen die Pumpfunktion zu verbessern (8), bedeutet in der Regel jedoch einen Anstieg des myokardialen Sauerstoffverbrauchs.
