Abstract
The esophagus, stomach, duodenum, colon, and cecum have become accessible to complete inspection by the development of modern fiberglass endoscopes. Enteroscopy, i.e., endoscopy of the jejunum and ileum, closes the last gap of gastrointestinal endoscopy.
