Abstract
In the study of active sites of natural products one of the main goals is to obtain the smallest possible fragments of the macro-molecule while maintaining biologic activity. Such an attempt was made by Porter (1959) who, in his classical work, described the cleavage of rabbit antisera by papain and the Chromatographic fractionation of the fragments obtained. In the present exercise the work of Porter will be reproduced.
