Abstract

The history of endogenous regimes can be reconstructed by studying rocks of different age, beginning with the oldest, and signs of the tectonic, magmatic, and metamorphic processes that have affected them. The most ancient rocks are found on crystalline shields like the Baltic, Canadian, Anabar, Guyanan, Brazilian, and African.
