Zusammenfassung

Man kann die theoretische wissenschaftliche Analyse in drei Schritte aufgliedern:

  • Auswahl der Probleme

  • Beschreibung der Ereignisse

  • Ableitung von Regelmäßigkeiten.

In der Ableitung von Regelmäßigkeiten wird allgemein das eigentliche Ziel der Wissenschaft gesehen (der konkrete Sinnzusammenhang, in dem das geschieht, soll uns hier im Augenblick nicht beschäftigen). Dabei denkt man heute an generelle Gesetze, die durch die Prüfung daraus abgeleiteter Hypothesen einer ständigen Kontrolle unterworfen sind. Generelle Gesetze sind nun nicht die einzig mögliche Form von Regelmäßigkeiten. Max Weber z.B. war der Ansicht, daß in den Geisteswissenschaften (darunter auch den historischen und Sozialwissenschaften) im Gegensatz zu den Naturwissenschaften allgemeine Gesetzmäßigkeiten unbrauchbar, weil inhaltsleer seien (vgl. M. Weber [127], S. 172 ff.). Diese methodologische Dichotomisierung der Wissenschaften und die Kritik daran vom Standpunkt neuerer wissenschaftstheoretischer Ansätze (vgl. Albert [1], S. 206 f.) ist hier nicht das Thema. Sie hat jedoch für unseren Gegenstand, die Analyse von Wirtschaftssystemen, zu bestimmten Theorieansätzen geführt und muß deshalb erwähnt werden.
