Abstract

The present article discusses general aspects of membrane structure and problems of membrane isolation and biochemistry with particular focus on the Golgi apparatus. It focuses on research that has not already been sufficiently discussed in previous reviews (e.g., MORRE and MOLLENHAUER, 2; WHALEY; including earlier articles in this series: e.g., SITTE).
