Abstract
Anyone who has worked with CAT can hardly imagine neuroradiologic diagnosis without it. From over 4000 CTs at the Neuroradiology Department of the University Hospital Frankfurt am Main we selected a special group of neuro surgical patients. Without taking in to consideration hypophyseal processes and expansive lesions of the posterior fossa, we had the opportunity to observe 28 cases of space-occupying lesions at the midline of the supratentorial space in which there were neither focal nor lateral neurologic signs (Table 1).
