Abstract
Since the early work of Wilson (1907–1911), a great many authors have studied the fate in vitro or after grafts in vivo of all sorts of cells dissociated by mechanical means, by substraction of calcium and/or magnesiumions, by enzymatic action or by a combination of these techniques (cf. reviews by Harris, 1964; Sigot, 1965; Moscona and Wilmer, 1966).
