Die Frühgeburt von Einlingsschwangerschaften -Prävention und Therapie (Moderation: K.-H. Wulf)

Zusammenfassung

Die Frühgeburt ist nach wie vor das zentrale Problem der moderen Geburtshilfe und Perinatologie. Sowohl die perinatale Mortalität als auch die einschlägige Morbidität sind vorrangig durch die Frühgeburtlichkeit belastet. Der Anteil der Frühgeburten an der perinatalen Mortalität liegt unverändert bei 65–70 %. Insgesamt stellt das Frühgeborenenproblem auch eine erhebliche volkswirtschaftliche Belastung dar. Erhöhte Anstrengungen im Rahmen einer primären und sekundären Prävention sind unbedingt erforderlich.
