Abstract
We review some of our recent angle-resolved photoemission results on Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 as a function of doping. We find that the Fermi surface is progressively destroyed as the temperature is lowered below the pseudogap temperatureT *. Furthermore, the superconducting gap behaves quite differently at different k-points. All of these results point to a non-mean-field behavior of the superconducting transition.
