In der PRISMS-Studie, einer doppelblinden, multinationalen, multizentrischen Studie, wurden 560 an schubförmig verlaufender Multipler Sklerose erkrankte Patienten randomisiert mit Interferon-beta la (Rebif®) behandelt (siehe auch Freedman et al. 2000).
