Abstract
The project, Ground-based Cloud Experiments (GCE), has been part of the large-scale European research effort EUROTRAC (European Experiment on Transport and Transformation of Environmentally Relevant Trace Constituents in the Troposphere Over Europe). The GCE project was launched in 1988 and continued for eight years until 1995, the year when EUROTRAC was completed.
