Zusammenfassung

Der Akuterfolg der PTCA wurde bereits früh nach dem erzielten angiographischen (angiographischer Erfolg) und klinischen Ergebnis (klinischer Erfolg) beurteilt. Als angiographischer Akuterfolg galt anfangs die Reduktion des Stenosedurchmessers um wenigstens 20% [3,31,38,59], später wurde er meist als Reduktion des Stenosedurchmessers um mehr als 50% definiert [38,64]. Als klinischer Erfolg wird die erfolgreiche Erweiterung aller angegangenen Stenosen ohne Eintreten eines Infarktes, des Todes oder einer notfallmäßigen Bypassoperation während des anschließenden Klinikaufenthaltes bezeichnet [31,36,38,45].
