Zusammenfassung
In dieser Gefäßregion ist die Stentimplantation am besten etabliert. Zahlreiche Serien und Studien wurden über Resultate und Indikation veröffentlicht. Unsere Gruppe hat bereits 1995 Langzeitergebnisse der Stentimplantation in Beckenarterien publiziert, wobei mit direkter Duplexkontrolle bei 36 Patienten ein Früherfolg in 100% und eine 1-Jahres-Offenheintsrate von 95% gefunden wurden [7]. Stents wurden appliziert in Fällen mit unbefriedigendem initialen Resultat (>50%ige Stenose nach PTA) oder bei Iliakalverschlüssen. Für kurze Verschlüsse oder Stenosen bis 3 cm wurden Ballon-expandierbare, für längere Läsionen selbst expandierende Nitinolstents verwendet. Diese Resultate decken sich mit anderen früheren Studien, z.B. derjenigen von Richter [8] oder Henry [5]. Deren Autoren folgerten aus diesen guten Ergebnissen, dass Stenting bei iliakalen Läsionen primär durchzuführen sei
