Zusammenfassung
Bei der Delphi-Technik handelt es sich um eine Methode zur Förderung und Strukturierung der Gruppenkommunikation. Helmer (Helmer-Hirschberg u. Rescher 1960) hat sie ursprünglich als Technik beschrieben, mit der Entscheidungen systematisch mit Hilfe von Expertenurteilen getroffen werden. In der Vergangenheit wurde sie oftmals als Studie zur Zukunftsvorhersage angewandt. Daher erklärt sich auch der Name, der an das Orakel von Delphi erinnert. Seitdem wurde sie in zahlreichen Situationen angewandt, oftmals für Zwecke, für die sie ursprünglich nicht vorgesehen war.
