Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden die Grundlagen zur empirischen Prüfung der Ergebnisse, die bei der Anwendung des im dritten Kapitels dargestellten B/S-Modells an der Deutschen Terminbörse erzielt werden, dargestellt. Zunächst wird auf eine mögliche Systematik zur Prüfung eingegangen, anschließend werden im zweiten Abschnitt die verwendeten statistischen Verfahren erläutert. Im dritten Abschnitt werden mögliche Prinzipien bei der Schätzung der Volatilität der Aktienkursrendite dargestellt: Es wird unterschieden zwischen aus Aktienkursen und aus Optionspreisen abgeleiteten Schätzfunktionen für die Volatilität. Die sich aus diesen Möglichkeiten ergebenden Schätzfunktionen für die Volatilität werden in der Reihenfolge ihres Erscheinens in der Literatur wiedergegeben. Im vierten Abschnitt werden die damit erzielten Ergebnisse bei der Bewertung von auf verschiedenen Märkten gehandelten Optionen vorgestellt und es wird die jeweils verwendete Methodik erläutert. Auf mögliche Zusammenhänge zwischen der Vorgehensweise und den Ergebnissen wird eingegangen.
