Abstract
Radio spectroscopy has provided extensive surveys of the 21 cm line of atomic hydrogen, H i (see Kalberla et al. 2005) and the rotational \(J = 1 - 0\) line from the ground state of carbon monoxide (see Dame et al. 2001) for the Milky Way galaxy.
