Abstract

Filters are extremely important in signal processing. Filters were already dealt with in Chapter 7 – as an example of linear processes. Although the focus was on analog filters digital filters were also dealt with. The advantages of digital as opposed to analog signal processing can be shown using the example of digital filters.
