Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel stellen wir verschiedene Übungen vor, die helfen sollen, Befürchtungen über die Reaktionen anderer Menschen abzubauen und das eigene Handeln offener und freier zu gestalten. Die Übungen tragen dazu bei, Annahmen, die die soziale Angst begründen, durch eigene Erfahrung zu verändern und die soziale Angst Schritt für Schritt zu überwinden. Es handelt sich dabei um folgende Übungen: Schwierigkeitstreppe, Modell zur Aufrechterhaltung sozialer Ängste, Lenkung der Aufmerksamkeit (Aufmerksamkeitstraining), Analyse und Reduktion des eigenen Sicherheitsverhaltens („Verhaltensexperimente“) und Gedankentagebuch.
