Abstract

The FLP PCDU supplies an unregulated power bus with voltage levels between 19 V and 25 V as explained later in Chap. 8. The three data handling boards of the OBC, namely the Processor-Board, I/OBoard and CCSDS-Board, require a steady voltage of approx. 3.3 V. Thus, the main task for the power conversion of the OBC Power Supply Board—or OBC Power-Board for short—is to establish a steady onversion of the unregulated FLP main power bus to the required 3.3 V, and within the range as specified for every board by their manufacturers. Furthermore it provides the routing and conversion of certain OBC internal interfaces to the housing outside respectively in inverse direction.
