Abstract

Breast carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor in women in North America and Europe. Invasive mammary carcinoma and ductal carcinoma in situ should be graded routinely in surgically removed or biopsied tissue samples. The grading of these tumors has considerable clinical significance.
