Abstract

An embedded control system with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) is designed and developed for a vision based Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) in this paper. In order to get high performance and reliability, the dual-core processor embedded system is used, including a main-controller for vehicle motion control, and a sub-controller for vision navigation. The embedded RTOS uC/OS-II is used to construct a software development platform, by which tasks schedule and system services software are realized.
