Research on Difference Distance Measurement and Localization Based on Zigbee

Abstract

According to research on range-based localization using wireless technology and focused on range attenuation characteristics of electromagnetic wave, a new method called difference distance measurement and localization is proposed to align the random errors. Results of the experiments using Zigbee-based hardware platforms indicated that precision of distance measurement and localization was improved.
