Die Verlustleistung an der Übertragungsstelle bei der Energieübertragung bzw. -wandlung läßt sich in gleicher Weise an einem mechanischen Modell (Kupplung) wie an einem elektrischen Modell (Luftspalt einer elektrischen Maschine) ermitteln.
