Zusammenfassung
Psychologische Erkenntnisse anzuwenden bedeutet, sie für das Verständnis und die Lösung von Alltagsproblemen nutzbar zu machen. Schaut man sich die verschiedenen Anwendungsdisziplinen der Psychologie an, so wird deutlich, dass sie häufig auf die Veränderung von Verhalten und Erleben oder auf die Optimierung von Denkprozessen ausgerichtet sind. Emotionen sind aus der Anwendungsperspektive interessant, weil sie zentral für die Veränderung sind. Dabei geht es entweder darum, Emotionen selbst zu verändern oder Verhalten mithilfe von Emotionen zu verändern.
