Symptomatische, fokale Knorpeldefekte von 1–2 cm2, Grad III–IV nach ICRS (International Cartilage Repair Society). Strenge Indikationsstellung bei korrespondierenden Knorpelschäden(„kissing lesions“).

Spezifische Kontraindikationen: Arthrose, osteochondrale Defekte, Osteonekrose.
