Zusammenfassung
Die Infektion eines Gefäßanschlusses für die Hämodialyse ist eine schwere Komplikation. Eine Infektion wird durch die häufig verminderte Abwehrkraft der Patienten begünstigt. Viele Infektionen sind vermeidbar. Auf den Einfluss der Punktionen auf Infektionen wird in Kap. 17 eingegangen.
