Zusammenfassung

Die Tracheotomie des Kindes zeigt im Vergleich zu der des Erwachsenen einige Besonderheiten sowohl hinsichtlich der Indikation und der Durchführung wie auch besonders hinsichtlich der postoperativen Komplikationen, so dass der gesonderten Darstellung der Tracheotomie bei Kindern ein eigenes Kapitel gewidmet ist.
