Reflectance Confocal Microscopy for Skin Diseases

Abstract

RCM is the perfect tool to establish optimal correlation between dermoscopic features and histopathology as it offers the ability to view skin structures as well as cell and microscopic components [1–3]. RCM findings to be understood and properly applied need to be correlated with histopathology. In this chapter, some of the most important RCM structures in nonmelanocytic neoplasms are briefly discussed with their dermoscopic and/or histologic correlates.
