Abstract

Aiming at the variety of communication fieldbus underground coal mine, a mult-protocol converter based on embedded system is proposed. It can make the equipments and monitoring systems with different protocols (include RS485, ModBus, ProfiBus, Ethernet) interconnect and form the automation system. This paper gives the use of 32 bit micro-controller S3C2410, the hardware interface circuit design which realized the detailed above protocols, and software design of mult-tasks processing using embedded real-time operating system μC/OS-II. The converter achieves mutual conversion between the above protocols. It makes data transmission of those devices and monitoring systems based on those protocols fieldbus real-time and transparent.
