Abstract

Immune Genetic Algorithm has been used in PWM control of inverter. This paper analyses the relationship among the switching frequency of power electronic devices, the current modulation and the merits extent of the single-phase inverter’s current waveform. In this paper, the computer programs of the immune genetic algorithm are written in programming C language. The optimal control sequences are computed in different switching frequency and current modulation. According to the Simulations, if the switching frequency is up to a certain extent, even further increasing the switching frequency, it can not effectively reduce the THD of output current waveform. When the switching frequency is fixed, selecting a certain current modulation can make the minimum THD. At last, this paper uses TMS320F2407 digital signal processor and builds an experimental platform for a large number of experiments. The data also shows the conclusions are correct.
