Abstract
Video image capture technology plays an important role in the security field, Qt is a mature cross-platform GUI toolkit written in C++, it provides software developers with unified elegant graphical user interface, and Qt class library can support cross-platform, also can be transplanted into different operating system platform conveniently, based on these, the paper constructs a video acquisition system based on embedded Linux and S3C2440A microprocessors, use V4L to collect camera images date, then the camera images date are compressed by MPEG-4 and transmitted to the terminal, the experimental results show that the system has good reliability and a certain practicality.
