Abstract
The physical characteristics such as the appearance, colour, solubility, melting point, boiling point, of as many as twenty six halochromates besides certain inorganic chromates, dichromates and chromic anhydride are described in this chapter. The laboratory methods for preparing each of these reagents are also discussed.
