Um eine Kopfschmerzdiagnose zu erstellen, ist es erforderlich, genaue Informationen über das Kopfschmerzleiden zu bekommen. Dies ist möglich, indem die verschiedenen Kopfschmerzmerkmale von dem Patienten erfragt werden und dann anschließend zu einem »Kopfschmerzbild« zusammengesetzt werden.
