Wound ballistics and international agreements

  • Chapter
Wound Ballistics

Abstract

All the international agreements related to the effects of military firearms came into being during the second half of the 19th Century, which is exactly when these weapons and the associated ammunition were undergoing their period of most rapid development. This is no coincidence; the agreements had to be drawn up in response to the developments.
