Abstract
In the light of the welding image characteristics obtained by passive vision sensing, the mathematical morphology is introduced, combined with image segmentation, wave filteration, edge detection, feature extraction for seam centerline extraction and welding quality adjusting. It is shown that the method has good effect on seam centerline extraction and quality adjustment.
