Zusammenfassung

Die Inzidenz der malignen Hauttumoren ist in den letzten Jahren stetig steigend. Dabei sind das Plattenepithelkarzinom und das Basalzellkarzinom die häufigsten Krebserkrankungen überhaupt (Diepgen 2010). Das maligne Melanom stellt die meisten Todesfälle bei Tumorerkrankungen der Haut (Hallermann et al. 2009). Wegen ihrer Häufigkeit werden das Basalzellkarzinom, das Plattenepithelkarzinom und das maligne Melanom im Gegensatz zu den selteneren Entitäten in diesem Kapitel ausführlicher beschrieben. Der Fokus wird auf die chirurgische Therapie gelegt. Eine interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit zwischen Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgen, Dermatologen, Strahlentherapeuten und Onkologen ist bei vielen Hauttumoren wünschenswert. Die Therapie sollte sich heute an den Leitlinien orientieren, die ständig an die aktuelle wissenschaftliche Literatur adaptiert werden.
