Abstract
Geometric arrangements, or arrangements for short, are subdivisions of some space induced by geometric objects. The figure to the right shows an arrangement of 6 two curves C1 and C2 in the plane. It has three faces– 7 two bounded faces f1 and f2 (filled with diagonal-stripe 8 patterns) and an unbounded face.
