Zusammenfassung

Die Auswahl geeigneter diagnostischer Verfahren in der präoder postoperativen Abklärung des Gastrointestinaltraktes wird durch die Vielzahl verfügbarer Methoden bereichert, aber auch erschwert. Neben dem diagnostischen Ziel und dem Patientenkomfort spielen heute zunehmend auch ökonomische und im Hinblick auf kurze Liegezeiten auch ablauftechnische Aspekte eine Rolle. Hilfreich erscheint deswegen eine systematische Analyse des Kompetenzspektrums der jeweiligen Methoden im Gesamtzusammenhang der Patientenversorgung. Hinsichtlich der Bewertung der Methoden kann dabei grundsätzlich zwischen Erkenntnissen über funktionelle, oberflächenmorphologische, tiefenmorphologische und Umgebungsveränderungen unterschieden werden.
