Abstract
This chapter will focus on hypofractionated, stereotactic body radiation treatment (SBRT) of localized prostate cancer using a homogeneous dose distribution. The biologic rationale for hypofractionation in the management of prostate cancer has been addressed in a previous chapter. Patient selection, treatment planning, dose specification, treatment delivery, outcome measures, and published experience using the CyberKnife® Radiosurgery System for prostate cancer will be reviewed.
