Abstract
The unusual title is justified, mainly, by two remarks: (i) the background is provided by (and the balance laws derive from within) an attempt to model, inside the scheme of the continuum, the behaviour of a drove of profuse minute granules and thus to overcome, to an extent, the dilemma discrete/continuous [1]; (ii) the terms hypoelasticity and hypoplasticity are already in common use for theories that are close to one proposed here [2, 3].
